Teaser of Bugs Bunny Drift Car

January 23, 2012 Leave a comment

Who loves teasers? I know I do… in more way than one. After shopping around with the girlfriend on a cloudy sunday afternoon, I decided to call up my buddy Barry up to see what he was working on today. Low and behold he said he was working on the drift car and I told him I wanted to come by and hang out. So I head over to the shop and first thing I smell is the grinding and welding of metals. Being that I love working on cars, its a smell I could appreciate.

Next thing I notice in the shop was a to do list so I checked that it. It looked like they were making good progress and was working on a seat brace at the time. So while they cut, measured, tacked weld and fitted the brace, I walked around the shop and took a few pics of the drift monster. We also talked Barry into firing up the car and man did it sound good. The S14 is powered by a LQ9 block and a LS head, the side nascar exiting exhaust made the beast sound even more impressive.

Here are a few pics teaser pics and vid of the car. If you want to see full pics of the car you will have to stay tuned.

Introduction to Slammedenuff

January 22, 2012 Leave a comment

I love car meets. It gives you an opportunity to meet guys with common interest, see what they have done to their cars and talk about all the stuff they want to do to their cars. Now the car scene around the Nashville area isn’t all the great but when Import Alliance is right around the corner, we get tons of cars from all over.

I first met Charlan B at local meet on the day prior to Fall IA. I had brought out my strobe photography gear to Moe’s Southwest Grille which was the saturday night hang out and was snapping pics for those that was interested. So I took a few pictures of my friends car at the meet but then ran out of cars to shoot. I was in a shooting mood so I walked around the parking lot looking for another car to shoot. I ran across a super clean civic that was slammed and knew I wanted to shoot it. I asked around to see who car it was but the owner was shy and his friends had to call him out. So out comes Charlan behind his groups of friends and I told him I wanted to shoot his car so he graciously moved it to the spot I wanted.

He told me his name but it sounded complicated to me at the time, so I asked him if I could call him “C” and he was like yea…. So I did my thing and snapped a few pics and below are some of the ones that I liked. Fast forward a few months, Charlan and I start trading a few texts and think we have some good things in stored for the local car guys. See Charlan runs a blog called slammedenuff which is all about organizing local meets, bringing together local car/truck enthusiasts, As we all know I enjoy taking pictures of cars. So I think Charlan and I will be teaming up and will be providing you all more local car coverage. So stay tuned cause we have some good stuff in store for 2012.

In the meantime check out their blog at www.slammedenuff.com

ProsPer’s Integra

November 28, 2011 Leave a comment

It’s amazing how cars can bring people together. I first met Chad this summer through a local car forum. The first time I invited him to hang out was to go to a charity car meet at 6:45 am. He was there at rendezvous point before I was. Since that day, we pretty much been hanging out together every weekend. That’s enough about our friendship, lets talk about some of the cars he has own in this short amount of time I’ve know him.

At the time he had a nice clean IS300 on some rpf1′s that I wanted to shoot. Since then he has had a BMW 3 series, zx10, 4 door civic, and now he has then Integra and a boosted EK hatch. The integra is lowered on omni full race coilovers, beaks gold lower tie bar, skunk 2 rear camber kit, 98 integra front, mugen replica lip sitting on some advan’s rg1′s that are custom poweredcoated baby blue. The car doesn’t have a huge mod list but it’s nice and simple, the way a daily should be.

Nothing like simplicity

September 16, 2011 Leave a comment

I consider myself a pretty simple kind of guy that’s why I can appreciate Adnan’s and Gage’s car. Their cars is a great example of what a car should like, nice and simple with subtle mods.

Here you see Adnan’s 95 325i outfitted with M3 goodies with a good drop and sitting on some BBS.

Here is video of the car in action.

Next up is Gage’s 2004 GT, this car was originally white but Gage felt like there was too many of them around town so he decided to paint it black. I’m glad he did cause i love this setup!

Fresh S2000

August 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Words from StanceNation, pics by me.

Here is a pretty clean Honda S2000 that was sent to us by our friend Johnny. It belongs to one of his buddies and is rolling on a set of Work XD9′s 18×9 & 18×10. It’s also equipped with Buddyclub N+ coilovers. While it doesn’t really have the most aggressive wheel setup or any crazy body work, it does the job and breaks necks everywhere it goes with that Mugen hardtop and front lip that’s practically on the ground. The owner of this beauty is rocking nothing but the good stuff. The interior features a Bride bucket seat, Mugen rear view mirror cover, Spoon gen 2 steering wheel, Momo hub, Nrg thin quick release, and Spoon 6spd shift knob. This isn’t the last time you’ll see this car on here however. Brandon’s future plans include building a custom set of Work Rezax ll’s, doing a full color change, rebuilding and boosting the motor, just to name a few things. Big ups to Tennessee for stepping their game up lately. As we said, expect a lot more in the near future!
